North Vancouver Midwife takes a new spin on healthcare. Inspired
by a fusion of personalized medical care and spa-like sensibilities,
we developed an identity that positions her company as a unique alternative for new mother’s.
The Story
Located in the sophisticated are of North and West Vancouver, Coast Midwifery is a boutique style business with top notch experience. Owner Aleka Stobo opened the business to showcase her signature midwifery care — a modern atmosphere infused with a traditional medical practices. She needed a brand identity that would communicate her fusion and its unique essence to a clientele on the north shore.
Crafting a Bold Identity
From the logo development to the photography style and tagline, we approached the project in a holistic way, creating a bright mood through color, lighting and simple graphics. We exemplified the unique marriage of Modern & Healthcare by using a unique colour palette alongside the whimsical baby contained within the logo. The logo combines a slightly fashion-forward typography with a simple sans serif, expressing both the sophistication of the service and the adaptable spa-like nature of the personalized care.
Translating the Brand Online
The website Straydog Marketing + Design created allows the midwifery brand to promote its unique approach and personalized services, as well as set the foundation to expand its staff to handle additional midwives who want to be a part of this great brand story!
